Litz wire exhibits the best signal transmission properties of either solid or stranded wire, without the drawbacks of either. It was originally developed for high frequency use, but for us, this means that its the most phase coherent wire type in existence at the same time that it can pass dynamic dynamic transients more accurately than any other.
Woven Polypropylene entrains air within it, which gives it a composite dielectric property actually slightly better than solid Teflon, while the hollow center that the wire rests in is, of course, air, as good as it gets. The elegant simplicity of this uncomplicated construction means that the total of the entire composite is actually better than solid Teflon. The fine stranding means that it has very good internal vibration dissipation. "Elegant simplicity" is actually much harder to achieve than complicated fixes. Read More >> |
